多くの皆様のお志のおかげで、
4月22日厳島神社の倒れた鳥居の撤去がはじまりました。

April 22 The removal of the fallen torii gate of Itsukushima Shrine has begun.

 

まずは、大きなクレーン車を使って倒れた鳥居の撤去作業。

First of all, the work to remove the fallen torii using a large crane.

 

鳥居の上の木、笠木のすぐ下の島木には平成九年十一月吉日の文字が・・・
まだまだ新しく、この笠木と島木は被害に遭ってないので、そのまま使われます。

“Kasagi”, the wood above the torii gate and “Shimagi”, the wood just below “Kasagi” have the characters of an auspicious day November 1997.

It is still new, and since Kasagi and Shimaki have not been damaged, they will be used as they are.

スッキリ　トラックに詰み込め、撤去作業は終了。

Cleanly packed in a truck and the removal work is completed.
